Since Xavi Hernandez took over as manager in November, Barcelona has been on the mend. Aside from their playing style and Xavi's faith in youngsters, the club's transfer strategy has also shown signs of improvement.

In the January transfer window, they acquired Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Adama Traore, and Ferran Torres. They're gearing up for a busy summer, and Ruben Neves of Wolverhampton Wanderers is apparently on their radar.

This season, the Portuguese has been in excellent form and has piqued the interest of a number of major clubs. Arsenal and Manchester United are both thought to be interested in Neves. According to the Daily Mail, after five years at Wolves, Neves is open to leaving the club in the summer. Controlling the midfield and anticipating attacks for his team are his specialties. Wolves have savoured the advantages of his combination with Joao Moutinho time and time again. The Portuguese is also recognised for his outstanding technique and long-range strikes.

With Sergio Busquests, 33, nearing the end of his career, Barcelona could use a controller in the midfield. Neves, who is only 24 years old, may be an excellent addition to Xavi's young squad at Camp Nou.

The ascent of Barcelona under Xavi Hernandez

Barcelona was in ninth place in the La Liga table when Ronald Koeman was fired in November. In the Champions League, they were in a perilous situation and eventually exited the competition.

The Catalan side, on the other hand, has climbed into the top four of the table under Xavi. They were knocked out of the Supercopa de Espana and Copa del Rey competitions. However, their performance on the field has vastly improved.

The impact of the winter signings has already begun. In six games for the club, Aubameyang has five goals and four assists, while Traore has four assists in six matches. Torres, on the other hand, has two goals and three assists in nine games. In four of their last six games, Barcelona has scored four goals. Youngsters like Pedri and Gavi, as well as veterans like Dani Alves and Jordi Alba, have been outstanding.

They've advanced to the Europa League's Round of 16, where they'll face Galatasaray. The Catalan club is widely expected to win the competition.

It's difficult to ignore Xavi's influence on this team thus far. With their club legend at the helm, fans will be hoping that the team's development and change continues.
